Major Kelley is the Executive Officer of the NATO Battlefield Coordination Detachment, at Allied Air Command, Ramstein, Germany. He is an Artilleryman and SME in Air and Land Integration, and the primary development officer of the ALI Forum, NATO’s foremost effort in integrating the Air and Land domains. Before this role, MAJ Kelley was an Advisor to the Nation of Georgia’s Defence Forces, helping develop modern training and doctrine programmes. Other previous assignments include Armistice compliance inspection in the Demilitarized Zone between North Korea and South Korea; Chief Targeting Officer at LANDCOM, Izmir, Türkiye; and principal staff trainer in the Artillery Battalion of the King Abdulaziz Mechanized Brigade, Al Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. Major Kelley has multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan; he has also worked in several programmes of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative.
