Prior to joining Metrea in 2023, Brian spent nearly six years in US Government, focused on NATO and European security policy, first in the Office of the Secretary of Defence’s NATO policy office, then as a professional staff member focused on US European Command for the US Senate Armed Services Committee. He has supported US policy objectives focused on NATO’s partnership frameworks, NATO-EU and US-EU defence and security cooperation, the European Deterrence Initiative, and military aid to Ukraine.
