Assistant Editor and Public Affairs

The JAPCC’s Assistant Editor ensures proper planning, organization, coordination and promotion of our bi-annual Journal and other major projects, activities, and initiatives in direct support of the editor of these products. Their responsibilities span the whole process of every Journal, including article acquisition, selection, review, editing, proofreading, maintaining contact with contributors, assisting the Publications, Promotions & Communications section in the layout process and its proper distribution to the chosen recipients. Presently, the position of Assistant Editor is combined with the function of the JAPCC’s Public Affairs Officer. Based on background and experience, this function may, however, be delegated to another JAPCC member.
